PS - I think that Faststone is very "user friendly" the way it is laid out and especially the way you click "OK" when you play with the sliders and get what you want. I need to buy the printer no later than Monday, 31 March as there is a rebate.
Any information or advice will be appreciated. The results are OK but vary from day to day and I usually have to adjust the image as most of the time it prints darker or more contrasty and there is very little adjustment available on these public machines so I figured that it's time I broke down and got my own printer for the good images I want to produce. What I have been doing is taking my Faststone jpeg files on a thumb drive to either Kinkos or Office Max and bringing my own quality paper and printing. When I called Epson to ask about this they implied that they couldn't guarantee that the printer would work unless I used Photoshop. After you've downloaded CrossOver check out our YouTube tutorial video to the left, or visit the CrossOver Chrome OS walkthrough for specific steps.
Faststone image viewer for mac os x trial#
To me a jpeg file is a jpeg file no matter how you made any color or other changes and in what program they were made. Faststone Image Viewer 3.2 Click the Download Free Trial button above and get a 14-day, fully-functional trial of CrossOver. I may use the other RAW converters to manipulate the image but then I send them to Faststone for watermarks, dpi and image size on what size paper and any final simple tweaks and save as jpeg file. I am planning to buy an Epson R3000 printer and my question is can I use the jpeg files that I get from Faststone and send to the printer and then print ? I don't use Photoshop. I bought Lightroom but I don't like the results with Fuji X sensor. I also have Photo Ninja, Silkpix (came with camera) and Lightzone, also a free program. I am also a big fan of Faststone for several years.
